I saw Anthony and Fleaon the VGA Awards last night. They were there presenting the award for the best original song in a video game. First they were talking about some of the best video game players out there. You can see his name on practically all the arcade games across the world...his name is FUK...and his close contender is ASS. Flea did a jig and it was awesome. Anthony's hair is long now...again :P

I have a headache

Hola! Hmmm, well I'm sick with a cold. Drats! It bites and yeah. I have to go to the Dentist on Friday...this happened the last time i went to the dentist like 2 monthes ago! AHH! Oh well, I'm staying home on Friday and maybe going and taking my written part of the driving test. Then that night i have to go back to school to be an usher for the drama department's presentation of Shakespeare's "King Lear." What's cool about it, i wanted to see some of the plays last year, but could because i never had money...but now that I'm in a drama class i can see it for free while at the same time helping :D Yay!!! I have bowling tomorrow and it's the last day of qualifying for Pepsi Tournament, hope i do good like i did last week :D

For some reason, i'm trying to learn "Time Of The Season" by The Zombies by ear. That song rocks!

Oooo, when i went to the Dentist last time and i was talking to the assistant lady who had just moved here from i think Washington...she asked me what i do here and i told her i play Cello and Bass Guitar, she told me she plays Alto Sax...we talked about instuments, blah, then we started on the subject of bands. Out of no where she was like "You like the Red Hot Chili Peppers dont you?" I looked at her in awe, because they're my favorite band...but i wasnt wearing my RHCP shirt, and had said nothing about them to her...it was freaky. I was like "Ummm, how did you know that?!" It was soooo freaky! On friday i might wear one of my shirts there...dunno which one...

A or B

Think i might go with B...

  1. anthony kiedis:
Dont get me started on Anthony Kiedis! He's 43 and hot, his voice is beautiful, his band kicks ass, songs are wonderful, did i mention he is hot?!
  2. blood sugar sex magik:
One of my favorite albums by The Red Hot Chili Peppers.
  3. cello:
One of the coolest, most beautiful sounding, awesome instruments ever! Also what i play and want one of to call my own
  4. dj lethal:
Dj Lethal kicks ass. Sound producer from Limp Bizkit who does all the funky sounds in the songs. He's also from Latvia...which i think is next to Russia...
  5. freaky styley:
Which Freaky Styley? The Album which is also one of my favorites, and the song which kicks ass and i know how to play on the Bass(which even a monkey could figure out because its so easy!)
  6. jim croce:
He has such a beautiful voice, he's a singer/accoustic guitar player who died in a plane crash in 1973. He was the one who did the songs such as "Time In A Bottle", "I'll Have To Say I Love You In A Song", and "Bad, Bad Leroy Brown"
  7. john otto:
Wicked awesome drum player from Limp Bizkit.
  8. lynyrd skynyrd:
One kick ass southern rock band! The members 3 members died in a plane crash in 1977. Ronnie Van Zandt(the singer) was one of them. I hate how they overplayed "Sweet Home Alabama" its not one of their greatest...and thats how people know who they are. Posers think they're awesome, yet they probably couldnt name one other song by them. I knew about Lynyrd Skynyrd WAY before they started putting "Sweet Home Alabama" in a shit load of movies and commercials. Even the KFC one, which ironically...my brother has worked there for like 6 years. Well Lynyrd Skynyrd are awesome. Three OTHER songs by them are "Gimme Three Steps", "Free Bird", and "Simple Man" Which I'm learning how to play "Simple Man" and "Free Bird"
  9. mother's milk:
Another one of my favorite Chili Peppers albums...made same yeari was born.
  10. quiet riot:
Awesome. Came here for concert this past summer and i didnt know about it.

Splendid! I learned "Freaky Styley" in less than 2 minutes...its friggin easy! *belch* Well, working on chorus part of "Jungle Man" I need a new pair of headphones, and i finally got a new watch! I can finally tell time at school! YAY! In a spur of the moment in Orchestra today i learned the beginning to "The Adams Family" theme song...whootess! Bowling was fun today...i bowled well! I got a 133 my first game, 130 on my second, and 133 on my third game! We're qualifying for the Pepsi Tournament this week and next. I've never been to it before *crosses fingers* Hmmmm, This kid at school whom we call Flea because he looks like the real Flea(gap tooth in all) keeps bugging for a 'hack' or hackey sack, he's only kidding, and doing it to be funny. Which it is...Damnation! I'll get him one...eventually just because he's cool. Yay! Uhhhhhhhhhhhh..........yesaaareeebbbbuuuuuubb! Gave my english essay yesterday on what our philosophy is on life, and what we believe in. I believe that it's not what's on the outside that matters, its what's on the inside. The presentation went well, and i guess i almost made my English teacher cry. She said it was pretty good. *feels special* Welp...das about it. Tomorrow is FRIDAY! I LOVE Fridays! WHEEEEE---*cough, hack, cough, hack, heart attack, thud, silence* x_X

*listens to some of The Marshall Tucker Band* They're gooood...they're like country rock. Stuff us Montanan people listen too sometimes...We have some cool bands having concerts here. Like Creedance Clearwater Revival, The Marshall Tucker Band, and Willie Nelson came here once not too long ago, so did Don Williams just the other day, and B.B King like 2 weeks ago, Quiet Riot this past summer, and lots of others.

Awwww! I was browsing around on the internet and found a couple books that have sparked my interest:

"Give It Away: The Stories Behind Every Song" - by The Red Hot Chili Peppers
and
"Behind the Sun: The Diary and Art of Hillel Slovak" - by James Slovak

I can find "Give It Away" on barnesandnobles.com for like 22 bucks, but not on ebay. And "Behind The Sun" i cant find at either...but i must search for it, muwahahaha! I will get my hands on those books...*maniacal laughter* They look soooo good to read! Even the covers are cool!

"Behind The Sun"
"Give It Away"

I heard about Frankie and Flea's new baby girl! Congrats to them! I'm happy for them! :D

I had one of those on-the-spot-came-outta-thin-air Bass lines to "Cabron" I was just fiddlin' around and i came up with something, yay! Go me! Lemme see here, what else? Uhhh. I really like the song "Bittersweet Home" And its actualy a cross between "Home Sweet Home by Motley Crue and "Bittersweet Symphony" by The Verve. Sounds cool. Listen to it sometime. Thinkin' maybe i might try to come up w/ something on the Cello for it.

All day I've had the song "Jungle Man" stuck in my head. Wonderful song :D

*starts rambling about how Limp Bizkit's album should not have pink and white*

OY! Last night i realized that i have the channel: MTV2 and "Beavis and Butthead" is on every night from 10:00-11:00pm. I love that show and havent seen it in AGES!!! As i was watching it, it went to commercial and i saw the commercial for the new Limp Bizkit album coming out. Its "Greatest Hitz." Its a CD/DVD that has videos and songs plus 3 new songs(which after i saw the commercial, i went to thearmpit.net and found them and got them). The three songs are:

Why
Bittersweet Home
Lean On Me

What i dont like about it is that its a Greatist Hits and I've already heard all the songs before aside from the new three. The cover is pink and white?! And not to mention, their new songs songs dont sound like Limp Bizkit. Their songs arent hardcore anymore like "Counterfeit" or "Rollin." They're all sappy and stuff...no profanity?! What the Hell?!!?!?! Fred! I'm losing you here! But for a sappy song "Bittersweet Home" is REALLY good! And...WES PLAYS CELLO IN IT!!! HE SOUNDS AMAZING!!! The album comes out on i believe it sais the 8th? I'd like to get it depending on how much money i have and how much it is...But yeah! I havent give up hope on them...but they're not what they used to be, which disappoints me because the reason why they're my favorite band is because of their first 3 albums...and with the change, i dunno what to do...*sigh* I hope they make a comeback with some hardcore stuff...please!!! Come back to me!!!!! Oh...and here is what the cover looks like:
